Mortgage Inspections
Mortgage occupancy inspections
Often, lenders use a drive-by or door-knock visit to determine whether a property is occupied, vacant, or abandoned.
*Pre-Foreclosure Check: Confirming a borrower has actually left the property
*Delinquency Monitoring: Checking if a property is abandoned after the borrower misses payments
*Loan Compliance: Ensuring a property bought with a lower rate needs to be owner-occupied and not actually being rented out.
*Post-Disaster Check: Evaluating if a home is still livable and occupied following a natural disaster.
Your job will entail the following
*Traveling to the assigned property address
*Conducting an exterior or Interior inspection, which has been ordered by taking photos, filling out the form on the app that is being used
*Delivering any documents or doorcards that the client orders
The work is primarily field-based and independent. You will drive to properties, document them professionally with photos, and submit the completed jobs quickly. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow client instructions precisely. Most assignments are straightforward exterior photo documentation jobs, making it a consistent and flexible way to work in the field.
